Lange war das Logo der Gemeinschaftsgrundschule Mülfort-Dohr (Kurz: GGSMD), wie bei vielen Schule, eine Strichzeichnung des Gebäudes. Design-Papst David Obilvy wird das Zitat nachgesagt: "Zeig Dein Unternehmensgebäude nur, wenn Du es verkaufen willst." Denn ein Gebäude sagt nichts über die Qualität von Leistungen oder Produkten aus.
Das nahmen wir uns zu Herzen: In drei Ebenen sieht man "Gemeinschaftsgrundschule", eine illustrierte Kinderreihe und prominent der Stadtteilname "Mülfort-Dohr". Die Kinder sind nicht wahllos gewählt. Die GGSMD ist eine Schule im sozialen Brennpunkt und ist die Heimat vieler Nationalitäten.

For a long time, the logo of the primary school "Gemeinschaftsgrundschule Mülfort-Dohr" (short: GGSMD), like many schools, was a line drawing of a building. Design pope David Obilvy is said to have said: "Only show your company building if you want to sell it." Because a building says nothing about the quality of services or products.
We took that to heart: on three levels you can see "Gemeinschaftsgrundschule", an illustrated children's lineup and prominently the district name "Mülfort-Dohr". The children are not chosen at random. The GGSMD is a socially deprived school and is home to many nationalities.

... und weil die Anwendungen vielseitig sind, braucht es auch eine Kurzversion des Logos, weil "Gemeinschaftsgrundschule" und "Mülfort-Dohr" wirklich Wortschlangen sind. Die Illustration einer Dreiergruppe der Kinder und die Abkürzung GGSMD reichen zur Wiedererkennung.

... and because the applications are versatile, a short version of the logo is also needed, because "Gemeinschaftsgrundschule" and "Mülfort-Dohr" are really word snakes. The illustration of a group of three children and the abbreviation GGSMD are enough for recognition.
